What the fuck is this ed karaoke

what-the-fuck-is-this-ed-karaoke

This is from Menclave’s 00. I don’t understand the thought(?) put into this design at all. It has… no… uh… karaoke-synergy (wow I don’t know what the fuck I’m saying right now). It’s like random grab bag of fonts and colors and effects. The out-transitions are nice-looking, but wtf @ the rest. Is the line of fucking gigantic kana with the green highlights really necessary? And the light blue highlights against the orange sky is pretty classy here. I know I’ve made some pretty fugly shit before, but I don’t think even my various ancient FMP TSR opening karaoke’s hold any candle to this.

In honor of this karaoke, I’ve decided to style my Kara no Kyoukai 4 ending after it. Check out my work in progress below. Isn’t it beautiful?

  1. F10 here. just wanted to say that this kara makes my TSing look good

  2. 風の谷の名無しさん

Obviously karaoke effects should cover AS MUCH of the original animation as possible. Nobody wants to see that anyway!

PS: Get a move on with that Kara no Kyoukai. You don’t want to get between a crack addict and his crack!

  3. Not enough flashing effects koda. You need some things spinning across the screen, taking away from the actual ending animation. That’s how I like my karaoke.

  4. I really do wish that there’s a fansub group out there that isn’t serious about the damn opening/ending karaoke and just tries to troll it or something =/ either that or just leave it out so it saves bandwidth. I mean, yeah karaoke is good shit for some people, but does it have to be every episode? Pretty sure most people get tired of the damn thing 5th time around or so and just skip it per new opening/ending.

Cept Lucky Star. Cause you watch the opening and skip the episode.

  5. II agree with D= I watch the ending and opening once, and then don’t watch it again until there’s a new one.

  6. Hey, retards, the giant kana line with the green kara IS FROM THE ANIME ITSELF. You idiots, it’s part of the animation, the PRODUCERS put that there.
