Okay ilifin, I found where Toradora is like honey+clover, do I get my cookie now? Otherwise, the “love triangle”, and the “dumb parent/angry child, soon incest” relationship between Taiga and Ryuuji, and Minori’s LOL SO RANDOM XDDD!!!! and [etc] just doesn’t read as “being like honey+clover” to me.

It’s got the same director as season 2 of H&C. Every once in a while this actually shows, and it causes massive cognitive dissonance.
