jubeichan @ livejournal scanned the character sketch pages of CLAMP’s Mutuality artbook which has a lot of their work on Geass. Page 84 = Schneizel sketches~ I hate the long haired prototype sketch in the top right. T_T But those short haired sketches underneath are nice. I really like his bangs so I definitely would not have fangirled over him if he had been long hair by the final version. Bottom mid outfit = Too many god damn layers = Makes it harder for Kannon to undress him, so glad that was scrapped too. Jacket on the bottom right looks nearly identical to hp.001’s Hatsune Schneizel, which was drawn way before the character sketches were released. hp.001 = Can hivemind w/CLAMP. Text on the bottom left says something about looking like a Greek statue but text is blurry. Greek Statue!Schneizel sounds odd as hell though… Those statues were often muscular, and Britannian princes are known for being shit at physical activity. (Edit: Oh yeah, insert the obligatory GFOT joke about how Lelouch was only able to run up stairs after became Emperor here.)
