Goku SZS is 3 episodes

AniDB and ANN list Goku as being 2 episodes. This is incorrect. As you can see from Star Child’s webpage, 3 release dates and 3 episodes (labeled with kanji for top/middle/bottom) are listed. Only the 1st/top and 3rd/bottom are being released with the manga, which may be why people think it’s only 2?

I tried to correct it on AniDB except it told me, “DB ERROR. This change has been denied in the past! See the old change request.” which I assume means my submission, w/source, didn’t go through… I don’t really know what to do next if it rejected my change request. D:

  1. That is why MAL rox. It’s been correct since the begging, and of course some people still tried to convince me that it’s only 2 eps, ’cause “It says so on AniDB”

  2. The next step would be to talk to one of the mods, either by posting on the built-in forums, or by mentioning it in #anidb@irc.synirc.net

  3. Sort of like how nobody has fixed an error I reported on ANN months ago…c’mon, you don’t have to spoil part of the ending to a show in its fucking summary, or do you? -_-

    • ANN is a real shit. Their mods won’t going to fix any problem you report, instead, you’ll have to wait for the submitter of that info to fix it himself. Shitty system.

  4. PenisEngineMechanic

but i thought ANN was a reputable source of info…

    • Kinda, there’s this one entry for a director and voice actor who both share the same name, but in the ANN database they are both listed as the same person. I thought it was weird a director with so many shows under his belt also had as many voice acting roles.

  5. While searching for VLC-crash stuff I stumbled on this.

Guess what, ANN still hasn’t updated http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=10224 and dvd’s been out for a couple weeks now… lolfail
