SubscribeAfter hearing their “3rd announcement” for their holiday event, I would like to take a break from my MKR marathon to laugh at Funimation.
Funimation is announcing 10 titles this holiday season, one per day, and they’ve left image hints for 8 of the 10 titles that give away the title or words close to the title.

So uh, 5 Geneon rescue titles. Ya…y…? 
From what I read on forums and such before the actual revealing began, people were excited to have 10 new titles released stateside and they thought “new” really meant “new titles that haven’t been released or licensed before” rather than “never been released by Funi before”.
8 hints given, 10 slots for “new” title announcements. Expecting Seto no Hanayome to be one of the remaining 2 since it somehow received the English title of “My Bride is a Mermaid” which is a new title rather than a translation of the Japanese title. They also announced they sent c+d’s out for Seto no Hanayome fansubs in November, but like Moogy, I wonder who they sent c+d’s to? The anime finished airing in 2007. Even though I’m the only person who has ever owned ggkthx.org (and thanks to tun sticking our name on m33w’s DVD rips to make it look like a joint which made it look like we had recently released it), I didn’t receive one. Although they actually did rlyrlyrly send c+d’s for Soul Eater and Eva, so maybe they thought if they really sent a few, then they could bullshit about sending the rest and people would just believe them!
Fake Edit: Speaking of Soul Eater, and since this is to lol @ Funimation, Daiz has been trolling Funi with Funimation.biz. It’s modeled after Funi’s webpage and links torrents for [Anonymous] Soul Eater. Daiz also received a ~kawaii~ e-mail from Funi which Alerith posted for people to read. Their fault for not registering it earlier. Funi has been a company since the 90’s, .biz domains have been available to be registered by anyone since… 2000?

‘Eva’? ‘Oh! Edo Rocket’? The first was already available in english outside of America since early November and the other is being released in Australia in Jan and was announced months ago. And Geneon rescues? Looks like Funi’s schneizel effort is maximum.
