[REL] Eden of the East – 02

So Mandoric and I weren’t going to do this but then the week progressed on and there’s 9 groups subbing Eden, 10 when you count Mistwalker and Tadashi as separate groups, 11 when you count in the yet to be released AonE as well. So as I pray, Unlimited Oversub Works. I guess I just unretired myself. Fuck.

Notes
- “Please continue being a messiah”: Changed from the May the Lord Be With You in episode 1 since it seems to refer to all 12 of the Selecao System rather than a specific one person. Messiah is taken from the text spam in the opening.
- “IX”: We’re using the roman numerals for number 9 (九番/kuban) since it’s written in roman numerals on the noblesse oblige phones. Also something about writing IX in Greek and getting JC, hurr durr.
- There’s cool panning around 12:08. THANKS FUJITV SCROLLING TEXT AND `HOUSE, I LOVE YOU BOTH TOO.

- Derp, the tl/context around 17:06 is fucked. Debt is 20mil yen.
- 14:36: Lol Mandoric can’t do numbers. 100 -> 500.

I updated ggkthx.org for fun. Not gunna put blog link in the TT comment again unless I have shit to note like the above. Too lazy to do fansub group wordpress again.

    Unretirement is fun! Especially when you didn’t finish retiring, and especially when it’s such a gloriously smooth process.

    You shouldn’t oversub ^.^ let the smaller groups take care of it. You guys should take on bigger, UNDERsubbed projects like Hatsukoi or something. (Only Chihiro and m.3.3.w. are doing it and m.3.3.w. is super slow, chihiro is inaccurate)
    There are other undersubbed shows too LIKE QUEEN’S BLADE (jkjk), imo drop Eden and let the smaller groups take care of it but it’s your choice

    Thanks for the release. Good quality and best speed. There are lots of new groups and most of them can’t use English properly so it would be a shame for an experienced group to retire..

    I’d say this fits the situation pretty well right now. Thanks for continuing this series. I don’t care much for Desire, but they were the only group to get it out fairly soon; everyone else came about a day or two later.
