    You know, I was explaining the whole thing with Cordelia’s hat to my sister yesterday and she asked “why the hell doesn’t she just dye it?”

    I suppose the makers of the anime asked the same question. And also probably needed a way to show her hat-less without giving the twist away.

      Well, let’s assume they’re not actually changing the game’s history and she announces, “Hey I’m a Darcsen”. What’s she going to do? Make Max and Borg wait while she washes the dye out of her hair to prove that her hair color is actually dark? (Assuming she hasn’t bleached it to get it as light.)

          The only way it’s a wig is if she also shaved her head before putting it on, then also glued the wig on! Kinda need to see the ep in motion to see what I’m talking about. :haw:

          There’s also the fact that the end credits has her beginning to take it off and then stopping when she notices Borgen peeking.

          So yeah, it’s probably just a wig that she wears when wearing the hat just for the sake of hiding her hair would be weird.

    I saw what you guys were referring to and hair is short enough so wear a wig. Hell I know people who can wear a wig with even longer hair then Cordelia’s.
