I can’t find a fall preview that doesn’t make me rage, so I’ll just make my own.

First off, lets get this out of way: Fall season sucks even though it hasn’t even began, and every fucking show on this list reminds me of a show from another season or a movie or a book or a video game or just any work of fiction in the whole world period. There’s also rows of totally fucking worthless moe shit on this chart meaning “quality” anime is dying. Furthermore, only moe harem boobs fanservice shit will ever get licensed in the United States because HEY GUESS WHAT IT SELLS BUT KAIBA DOESN’T BAAAW WHY DOES IT MATTER I HAVE KAIBA FANSUBBED ON MY HD??? so the anime industry is dying in the United States too.

Trapeze [Subbing]
It’s by the Mononoke fags and it’s on noitaminA and I’m a noitaminA fag so this means I will automatically watch/like it. Also chartfag is wrong, this is a novel, not a manga.

(I ordered the first book in the Dr. Irabu series called In the Pool because it was translated in English a few years ago. All 5 of the stories have a “normal” person who has a problem and they go visit the strange Dr. Irabu and his nurse, Mayumi. The normal dude naturally thinks Irabu is a total weirdo etc, and if the patient is a guy they have a raging boner for Mayumi. Irabu and his actions actually help the patient and everything is sugoi by the end. I figure Trapeze will be more or less of the same.)

    Winter Sonata’s an adaptation of a Korean drama that I’m pretty sure must be several years old by now.
    Okay, yeah, just checked. Wikipedia says it involves a psychologist-induced brainwashing.

    No comment about Natsu no Arashi 2? First season was great overall. Looking forward to watching that one.

    Inuyasha “About damn time” – I know the feeling. We would have preferred a filler free ‘tighter’ storyline made in a lot less episodes, but Inuyasha is Inuyasha. Mandatory viewing just like Code Geass. Hopefully it’ll be good and remind how great of a series it used to be.

    A Certain Scientific Railgun – Dude! Are you brain-dead? SHE’S A RAILGUN FOR GOD’S SAKE! Railguns are like uber-cool, ya know? Plus one of the few highlights from a lousy directed Index show.

    I kinda had my eye on Fairly Tale for my original anime of the season. A shame Aya is voicing a main character though.

    Everything else looks like shit or too boring to watch. How many shows based on the 3 kingdoms have there been? And where the hell is Mai-HIME 2 at? Grrrrr.

    And I’m going to cry if Hayate is only 26 episodes long. Need more Hina-love!

    Other than that I’m sure Darker than Black 2 will be alright.

    After watching anime for so many years isn’t it possible that you’ve reached a limit on the types of genres that can exist? Isn’t everything always cool when it first comes out and then eventually you just exhaust it?

    imo the problem is less that things are repeated and more that the same things have been repeated for the past couple of years. They need to go back to the times of more psychological mindfuck and violence anime.

    Fighting/Battle Librarians = Library War + BOOBS – uniform (and clothing in general) lol. Perhaps if this aired prior to Library War people’s ’suspension of disbelief’ ability would’ve leveled up and enjoyed Library War more? Perhaps then maybe not.

    This season has so many shitty sequels that some of them are actually good just through statistical chance!

    I guess I’ll just be watching my noitaminA and SHAFT and trying to catch up on the five billion things I’m trying and failing to follow THIS season. Also Darker Than Black.

    (No really, Nogizaka Haruka, Queen’s Blade, Azusa Cryin, White Album? I’m laughing through my tears here.)

    The summer season didn’t bear much fruit for me… I only really like aoi hana. Bakemonogatari and Canaan have been entertaining enough to continue with them. I’m thinking of dropping tokyo magnitude 8.0. Right now I only see 4 series I’m interested in seeing… That new yuri series isn’t one of them though. I’d probably give kobato a chance if gg was subbing it but it probably wouldn’t keep my interest anyway. At least trapeze looks interesting.

    well IMO railgun isn’t all that awesome compared to some others but at least it beats some others.

    /me likes Nogizaka Haruka S2 as a romance anime just hoping they don’t fk up the great ending in S1.

    S2s are great if they actually do something decent in continuing the series IMO.
    DtB kinda fails because the promo doesn’t have Yin. and she has lotsa fans. like you koda.

    lol, I just realized that your title-translating managed to make just about everyone gloss over the new yuri title. Including me. Cue some delayed excitement over actually having a show to look forward to.

    I’m about to start reading the manga now. The slight idiosyncrasy in Sasameki Koto’s art is what initially caught my attention, but by all accounts this seems to be a poised and solid yuri effort. I guess Koda still hasn’t got any reason to be interested, but for all the people here proclaiming ’shit season’, I just wanna bring this up as something to watch out for.
