    Why the fuck do people use Lua for this shit these days anyway? aegisub supports languages that people actually use for things other than fansubbing, so you’re more likely to find people who know what’s going on with it.

      Hate to tell you, but Lua is used for quite a few other things than fansubbing (honestly, I didn’t even know it was ever used for that). It’s most commonly used as a scripting language for games, due to its small binary size, but I see it pop up in all sorts of places…

    Is this a troll post? I really like this song very much, but that karaoke is as horrible as heck. The over-the-top effects and unreadable font for the bottom translation are awful. Plus, the Anime Keep logo is absurd and unwarranted, and Comic Sans font should be so avoided. But I love this song… ;_;

      Still, you have to admit it’s more readable than most highly advanced modern karaokes. I mean, it’s actually a solid color + some border, and not transparent. I’d gladly take the old SSA karaokes from 2001 over most of the shit groups are putting out today.

      I talk Spanish but I admit it, lately it seems that (horribad)karaokes and awful typesetting in AE are MORE IMPORTANT that translation/encode quality, I’m serious, most of the people prefer a fansub with karaoke in AE instead of one who doesn’t have it, it doesnt matter if the translation (even though mostly are ENG ->SPA) is fucking literal and sometimes done with google.

      Ah, I forgot to add, some of them say their encode is “HD” (a mp4 file within 170-200mb at 480p) or just make it 720p with a size of 180mb using some converter to do it and “paste the subs” instead learning how to fucking use virtualdub/MeGUI (I found out some days ago that the “leader” of a fansub group didn’t even know what’s avisynth…)

    Pfff, don’t troll this epic piece of kara. It opened the gateway to fancy hell bitmap kara!
    Also don’t compare it to stuff that’s way older;) This was made during the initial CC airing:D

    Also mind that back then almost every single group was doing bad SSA TS, so it was an actual surprise;)

    I mean it has EXPLODING BULLETS, FLYING CROSSES and even the PILLAR OF FLAMES.

    In my original design(note: not sure what I was on back then, but it must have been damn strong) there was plans for even more bang!(including flying chains)
