You know, Hatsuyuki is a pretty mysterious fansub group. They sub 4 shows, 1 = a joint, 3 = ones we’re subbing (Kobato/Kampfer/Umineko). They always release those 3 shows after gg does. Their Umineko 1 was blatantly copied from ours and they were delusional enough to claim it was their own work. Later, on AniDB, their group member said that their translator “probably used gg’s as for ‘reference’”. They also announced they were interested in subbing the Sound of the Skies, Dance in the Vampire Bund, and Ookamikakushi, but only after other groups that make weekly releases had announced their interest in those shows.
ETA on someone joining their group and getting paid 10bux to edit gg scripts?!
